The Opportunity
Point Source Audio is looking for a highly experienced Vice President of Sales and Business Development who will play a critical role in driving revenue growth and expanding business opportunities through effective sales leadership and strategic business development initiatives.
We value individuals who are self-starters and have a strong focus and discipline to execute strategies for growth in our target markets. Your excellent communications skills will be key in developing and managing relationships with our channel partners and consultants. You will also work closely with the executive team to create sales plans and promotions, and track performance metrics to maximize our competitive edge in the marketplace.

Essential Functions
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and company objectives.
- Build and lead a high-performing sales and customer service team, providing guidance, support, and training as needed.
- Analyze market trends and customer needs to identify new business opportunities and develop innovative sales strategies.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders to drive business growth and foster long-term partnerships.
- Monitor sales performance metrics and KPIs, providing regular reports and insights to the executive team.
- Collaborate with other departments, including marketing, product development, and finance, to ensure alignment and integration of sales strategies with overall company goals.
- Stay updated on industry developments, competitor activities, and market trends to inform strategic decision-making.
- Drive a culture of excellence, professionalism, and customer-centricity within the sales and customer service teams.
- Oversee the development and implementation of sales training programs to enhance the skills and performance of sales personnel.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements related to sales and customer service operations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or related field; MBA or equivalent preferred.
- Proven track record of success in sales leadership roles, with at least 10 years of experience in driving revenue growth in a similar industry.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams towards achieving targets and objectives.
- Excellent strategic planning and analytical abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and effectively manage competing priorities.
- Deep understanding of sales methodologies, techniques, and best practices.
- Experience with CRM software and other sales productivity tools.
- Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
